Mason & Hamlin ‘BB’

This 1921 Mason & Hamlin ‘BB’ grand piano is in the final stages of the rebuilding process. We have installed a new sounding board, tuning pin block and strings. We replaced the old whippens, shanks and hammers with new ones and the action is being regulated. We also have stripped the piano of the old finish and applied a new, closed pour / hand rubbed finish.

1911 Steinway Grand ‘O’

This Steinway Grand piano model ‘O’ is from 1911 and currently being rebuilt. We have manufactured a new tuning pin block and have installed new Steinway hammers, shanks, whippens and keytops. The action has been completely re-regulated and feels new.

1948 Steinway Grand ‘B’

This Steinway grand piano was generously donated to the Jesse Lee church and is in the final stages of the rebuilding process. We have manufactured and fitted a new tuning pin block, new hammers and have completely regulated the action to feel and perform as if it were brand new.

This 1913 Mason & Hamlin grand piano model “BB” is 7 ft long and is about to be rebuilt. We will be manufacturing and installing a new piano tuning pin block, strings, pins, various action parts and finish. The action will be completely regulated and feel and operate as new. 1927 Steinway B

This 1927 vintage Steinway grand piano model B is being completely rebuilt and refinished. We have manufactured a new tuning pin block and sounding board. We have installed all new Steinway parts (whippens, shanks and hammers) and are completely regulating the action. This 1930 Knabe grand is undergoing complete rebuilding and refinishing. We have manufactured and installed a new tuning pin block (with new pins & strings). The action has new shanks and hammers and is undergoing complete regulation. The burled walnut case with a carved leg has been refinished.

Knabe Grand 6’4″ Carved Case

This 6’4″ carved case Knabe grand piano from 1892 came in for complete rebuilding and refinishing. We have manufactured and installed a new piano tuning pin block, new key tops, damper felts and various action parts. The soundboard has been repaired and the finish is completely new. The piano will be done this week.

1944 Steinway Grand Piano Model ‘M’

This mahogany 1944 Steinway grand piano model “M” is in our factory for a new tuning pin block, miscellaneous action parts and full regulation. The piano has the original finish from the factory which is in surprisingly good condition.

1923 Knabe Grand Piano 5’8″

This 1923 5’8″ Knabe grand is almost finished being rebuilt. We have manufactured and installed a new tuning pinblock and treble bridge, repaired the original sounding board, replaced the hammers, shanks & keytops, and are currently regulating the action. The piano has been refinished in a beautiful mahogany color.

1908 Steinway Grand Piano “O”

This 1908 Steinway grand model “O” is being completely rebuilt. We manufactured and installed a new tuning pin block, aligned (traveled) the hammer shanks and reshaped the hammers. The action is currently undergoing full regulation.

1923 Steinway “A” Grand Piano

This 1923 Steinway grand piano model “A” is undergoing complete rebuilding (with no refinishing). We have replaced the tuning pinblock but were able to keep the original sounding board. On the action we installed a set of new keytops, Steinway hammers / whippens / shanks, and will be completely regulating the piano.

Fischer Grand Piano #165506

Fischer was established in 1840 by two brothers, John and Charles Fischer in New York City. Fischer was formally R. & W. Nunns & Clark and then Nunns & Fischer around 1839. In 1896 the J.C. Fischer Co. celebrated the making of their 100,000th piano. They produced about 5,000 pianos annualy around the turn of the century.

In 1932 Fischer was taken over by the American Piano Company, then in 1985 the J. & C. Fisher name was purchased by Wurlitzer. In 2001 Gibson (who also owns Baldwin) purchased the name and manufactured some pianos with the “J. & C. Fisher” name.

This particular 5’1″ Fischer grand piano was manufactured in 1934, and is a solidly built instrument. Currently undergoing complete refinishing, the piano will look indistinguishable from new on the outside.

This 1926 Steinway & Sons Duo Art grand piano model “OR” is 6’4.5″ and is ready to be rebuilt and refinished. The piano will have all new action parts, a new pin block, strings, and tuning pins, and a new finish. The Duo Art mechanism will be completely rebuilt with all new tubing, hoses, pneumatic and bellows clothe.

The price includes local delivery, matching bench, 10 year warranty, and 1 in-house tuning.
