Rebuilt Mason & Hamlin “A” – 1931

This 5’8″ Mason & Hamlin grand piano was manufactured in 1931 in Boston, MA and has recently been rebuilt & refinished. The piano has a new tuning pin block, strings, hammers, and was recently refinished. We are asking $15,000 which includes delivery, matching bench, 10 year warranty, and one in-home tuning.

1923 Knabe Grand Piano 5’8″

This 1923  5’8″ Knabe grand is almost finished being rebuilt. We have manufactured and installed a new tuning pinblock and treble bridge, repaired the original sounding board, replaced the hammers, shanks & keytops, and are currently regulating the action. The piano has been refinished in a beautiful mahogany color.

This 1908 Steinway grand  model “O” is being completely rebuilt. We manufactured and installed a new tuning pin block, aligned (traveled) the hammer shanks and reshaped the hammers. The action is currently undergoing full regulation.

John Fekete, who emigrated to the United States from Hungary in the 1890s, opened Fekete Pianos about 1912 or 1913 in Manhattan. Fekete ran the shop until his death in 1957, passing on the business to his son, John, who changed his family name to Ford and the name of the business to Ford Piano Co.
